7/14/10 Interest rates have really dropped. We are at 4.625% for a 30-year loan today. That is about as low as I have ever seen. In the long run this interest rate would be better for a buyer than the tax credit, over the term of the loan. The number of homes on the market is still very low. We have only 199 homes for sale today in Grand Island. We are also still ahead of last year in closed sales. We hope those number continue. Looking at the total picture, our market is doing very well compared to other areas of the country.
